Baiju S. Vasani, a partner with Crowell & Moring LLP's International Arbitration Group, focuses his practice exclusively on international commercial and investment arbitration and complex transnational litigation matters covering various sectors and industries. Baiju represents clients in international disputes across the globe. He has appeared before various international tribunals under the auspices of, among others, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), and the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA), as well as before ad hoc arbitration tribunals and the federal and state courts of Texas. Prior to joining the firm, Baiju was in-house legal counsel for a Fortune 500 company, involved in both contentious and transactional matters in connection with the company's United Kingdom and European operations.
Baiju is admitted both as an Attorney in the United States (Texas) and as a Solicitor in England, holding full law degrees (a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Laws respectively) from both countries. He has been been admitted in England since 1999 and the United States since 2003.

Born and raised in London, England, Baiju was awarded an Exhibition Scholarship, two Barlow, Lyde & Gilbert Awards and the Law Society Prize while attending the King's College, University of London. Baiju was admitted as a Harmsworth Scholar to the Middle Temple in 1999, where he was called to the Bar. He was admitted to practice law in Texas in 2003, and transferred his English qualification from Barrister to Solicitor in 2004. In 2006, he was admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
