Jane Wessel is a US lawyer and English solicitor, who has practiced in international arbitration for more than fifteen years and is now Counsel in Crowell & Moring's London office. She and her colleagues in the firm's offices in Washington D.C., California, New York and London handle virtually every type of international arbitration. Ms Wessel has been involved in international commercial arbitration in the ICC, SCC, LCIA, AAA, the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber and ad hoc arbitrations under UNCITRAL rules and the arbitration laws of India and England, in jurisdictions including England, France, New York, Canada, Hong Kong, Austria, Switzerland, and India. Crowell & Moring also has substantial expertise in investment arbitration, having acted for both investors and host states in cases under BITs, as well as cases under multilateral treaties including the NAFTA and the ECT. They presently act for the Claimant in the Libananco arbitration under the ECT.
