Devashish Krishan, an Indian national, has worked in international arbitration and public international law in London, The Hague, Mumbai, New Delhi and Washington, DC. Prior to joining Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, he practiced with a U.S. firm in London and served as assistant legal counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague.
He has been counsel in major arbitrations including Renta 4 et. al v. The Russian Federation and Helnan International Hotels v. The Arab Republic of Egypt and has been appointed as an arbitrator by the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA). Widely published, he regularly participates in professional associations and groupings as a speaker and office-bearer. He has been recognized for excellence by Global Arbitration Review: GAR Top 30 and Who’s Who Legal: Commercial Arbitration.
