CENTRAL is an academic research organization devoted to the study and practice of international commercial arbitration and transnational commercial law. CENTRAL has published the first interactive casebook on international commercial arbitration with DVDRom (www.arbitration-interactive.de). CENTRAL operates the Transnational Law Digest & Bibliography at www.tldb.net, an online research tool which contains thousands of full text references on over seventy principles and rules of transnational commercial law. Professor Berger, the founder and director CENTRAL, has considerable practical experience as sole arbitrator, party appointed arbitrator and chairman in ad hoc and institutional arbitration. He is co-editor of Arbitration International and member of the board of the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS, www.dis-arb.de)
