Claudia T. Salomon, partner to the Litigation practice group, has managed complex investor treaty arbitration and international commercial arbitration cases under the ICC, LCIA, AAA, Stockholm, UNCITRAL, and Vienna rules. She has extensive experience working in Europe. Among her most significant cases, she coordinated the representation of the Czech Republic in an investor treaty arbitration and related international commercial arbitration under the UNCITRAL rules. That case involved over $5 billion in claims arising from the failure of one of the Czech Republic’s largest banks. She has handled all phases of U.S. federal and state court litigation, including evidentiary hearings, motion practice, emergency relief, appellate practice, and ADR proceedings.
Ms. Salomon has also published numerous articles and delivered many presentations about international arbitrations, both in the U.S. and Europe. She is highly recommended in European Legal Experts (2004 and 2005) for litigation and arbitration and is highlighted in European Legal 500 (2003) for dispute resolution. Ms Salomon is admitted to the Arizona and Virginia bars and as a foreign lawyer in the Czech Republic.
