Call for Expression of Interest for TDM International Arbitration Case Law (IACL) drafters and/or editors. Apply by 30 November 2022
18 October 2022
As you may know, International Arbitration Case Law (IACL) and TDM/OGEMID produces summaries of recently released arbitral awards, in particular, albeit not only, awards rendered by Investment Arbitral Tribunals. These summaries are then distributed free of charge among the public at large in order to contribute to disseminate the knowledge and understanding of international arbitration allowing for a quick reading of complex arbitral and international law decisions.
This achievement would not be possible without the excellent and dedicated work of our drafters. Once or twice a year, IACL invites talented and skillful professionals or advance law students to express their interest in contributing to expand the IACL's database by means of the preparation of summaries that after an internal process of quality certification, will be distributed through OGEMID, Young-OGEMID and published in the IACL/TDM's website at www.transnational-dispute-management.com/casereports.asp.
Call for Drafters and Editors.
At present, IACL is looking for candidates who are willing to volunteer to draft summaries of investment arbitration awards for their publication through OGEMID and TDM. The name of the drafters of the summaries will appear on the first page in each summary granting full recognition to their academic efforts.
Collaborators need to fulfill certain requirements such as excellent writing skills, a proficient command of English (additional languages are a plus, namely, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Swedish and Dutch), a thorough interest in international arbitration as well as a keen interest in drafting summaries of long documents in a concise manner.
All drafters/editors are encouraged to apply, not later than 30 November 2022, by sending their CVs to the following e-mail addresses:
