Abstract
This case addresses important issues which arise where a tribunal faces serious and/or offensive allegations made against it, particularly where those allegations include bias. Should the tribunal resign if it is accused of bias on the basis that to be entirely impartial following such accusation is either unachievable or could be seen to be unachievable? If the tribunal is not to resign, how then it should it handle offensive behaviour by one of the parties or by an advocate?
