Introduction
This draft bill is under consideration by the Scottish Executive and should become law in
2005. The Bill, for the first time ever (or at least since 1598) codifies all Scots Arbitration
law which, for domestic arbitration, is presently spread around in over 800 years of case law and
a few isolated statutes dealing with specific issues.
