This article sets out the view of an English lawyer on aspects of Islamic Finance and will first consider litigation as a method of resolving Islamic Finance disputes by looking at decisions of courts in London and New York. Second, the article will consider arbitration as a dispute resolution alternative. Third, a look at recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards under the provisions of the New York Convention.
