Admitted in Koln and in Paris as a foreign lawyer.
Managing partner and also leads the business law department of the firm.
Lecturer in the University of Liege (Department of commercial law) in charge of the course on Business Commercial Transactions, Mergers and Acquisitions.
Chairman (Batonnier) of the bar of Liege in 2003.
Member of the committee of directors of the CDVA (Commission Droit et Vie des Affaires).
Member of the Supervisory Counsel of the Commission bancaire et financiere et des Assurances (the equivalent of SEC).
Regent of the National Bank of Belgium.
Chairman of the ICC working party on the international franchising model contract and member of the ICC working parties in charge with the drafting of the international model agency and distributorship agreements.
Areas of practice:Company law, international business transactions with a specific focus on cross-border restructuring and mergers an acquisitions, distribution law, international arbitration (he frequently acts as both arbitrator and counsel in ICC and CEPANI arbitration proceedings), white collars criminal and finance law.
