Jennifer Pflanz is a rising 3L at Suffolk University Law School in Boston, MA. At Suffolk, Jen received the Best Oral Advocate and Honorary Mention Awards in her first year Legal Writing and Research course.
In the summer following her 1L year through her 2L year, Jen worked at Lubin & Meyer, PC, a medium-sized medical malpractice law firm in Boston, MA. Jen worked with clients throughout the discovery phase of their cases, drafted motions and opposition briefs, as well as assisted attorneys in preparation for trial.
Prior to beginning law school, Jen worked as a Paralegal for three years at Tocci, Goss & Lee, PC, a law firm in Boston, MA specializing in immigration and employment law. In this role she drafted and organized family and employment-based green card applications, naturalization applications, as well as employment visas for individuals to begin or continue working in the United States.
Jen graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, ME, with a B.A. in Mathematics, and a minor concentration in Economics. She played soccer for four years on the Bates Women's team and was a team captain in her final year. She also played Women's Lacrosse for one year and actively volunteered in the community around Bates, helping at soup kitchens, tutoring local high school students in math, and participating in soccer and lacrosse clinics for local children.
Jen has good knowledge of German and a basic knowledge of Spanish.
