Eric Leikin

Admitted as an attorney in New York and Washington, DC, USA, Eric Leikin is a member of the international arbitration group at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Currently based in Vienna, Austria, he focuses on international commercial and investment arbitration - with particular experience in the energy sector and with post-M&A disputes. Prior to joining Freshfields, Eric practiced for several years with a leading international law firm in Washington, DC, specializing in civil litigation and compliance investigations. He also clerked for Justice Madlanga on the Constitutional Court of South Africa in 2014.
Eric received his JD from The George Washington University Law School, as well as a MA in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In addition his native English, Eric speaks intermediate German and Russian.
