Carla Chavich holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is a CFA® charterholder. She obtained her degree in Economics from Universidad de San Andrés with summa cum laude honors.
Ms. Chavich specializes in economic and regulatory analysis, and in the valuation of assets in developing countries. Her work is focused on international arbitration matters, where she performs economic and financial analysis in the context of international treaty and contractual disputes. She has participated in more than 50 arbitration cases, in courts such as ICSID, ICC, IACAC and UNCITRAL, and has testified in arbitration proceedings. She has also led several regulatory consultancy projects. Ms. Chavich has worked on projects related to various industries (oil and gas, mining, electricity generation and distribution, gas transportation and distribution, telecommunications, infrastructure, air transportation, water services) in diverse locations, including Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Croatia, Ecuador, Mexico, Rumania, Spain, United States and Venezuela.
