Anton Tugushev
Profile
Anton Tugushev is a PhD researcher at the School of law, City University of Hong Kong (Hong Kong, China). He holds his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from the Russian Customs Academy with specialization in law. His postgraduate (candidate of science) thesis was devoted to special customs procedures in framework of international trade facilitation. He presented his research at conferences, organized by World Customs Organization and leading universities.
In addition, Anton was a teaching assistant at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and Moscow Humanitarian Economic University along with working as a manager in the Ministry of the Development of the Russian Far East. During his occupation in the Ministry, Anton closely worked on Russia-China cooperation projects in the Russian Far East, and took part in One Belt One road educational program.
His current endeavors of research and teaching are focused on international trade and investment law. Specific topics of his strong attention are the special (free) economic zones and theory of "law and development".
