Senior Associate of the Energy, Infrastructure and Arbitration practice at Garrigues. Gabriela has participated as a party representative in international commercial arbitrations conducted under the main institutional rules and before the most important arbitration courts, such as the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the International Center for Dispute Resolution / American Arbitration Association (ICDR / AAA).
She has also been involved in the drafting and negotiation of contracts for key energy and infrastructure projects in Mexico, as well as in contract management and dispute resolution processes for macro infrastructure and energy projects. Gabriela has been key in the contract management of one of the highest installed capacity wind farm in the country. Gabriela is a multidisciplinary attorney with a broad and comprehensive approach to transactions. She has participated in various corporate, M&A and financing deals pertaining to Combined Cycle Power Plants, Internal Combustion Power Plants, Thermoelectric Plants, Hydroelectric Plants and wind and photovoltaic farms.
Gabriela is constantly searching for solutions that bring efficiency to the contract formation, management and arbitration processes.
