Stepan Sultanov represents clients in complex cross-border disputes in litigation and in international arbitration under auspices of LCIA, ICC, VIAC, SCC, ICAC, RAC and others.
Stepan is engaged in resolution of disputes in construction, commodities (oil and petrochemical products), distribution, and IT sectors, caused by force-majeure circumstances and hardship/frustration of contracts.
Before KIAP, Stepan served as a deputy head of international legal practice of the largest distributor on the Russian IT market. Has a broad experience of working with Chinese and Hong Kong counterparties in the field of commercial relationships.
From 2023, Stepan is a Fulbright scholar taking his LL.M. in Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, Pepperdine University (Caruso).
Stepan speaks Russian, English.
