Laurie Achtouk-Spivak
Profile
Laurie Achtouk-Spivak focuses on international arbitration and litigation, with a particular emphasis on public international law. Laurie represents investors and sovereigns in investment treaty arbitrations before ICSID as well as in other arbitration institutions. She has acted as counsel and advocate in several commercial and sovereign arbitrations, and provided numerous companies with investment structuring advice.
Ms. Achtouk-Spivak joined the firm in 2006. She received an LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School in 2006. She also received a DEA in international law from Paris II in 2005 and a DESS in international business law from Paris I / Sciences-Po in 2004. In 2004, she graduated from Sciences-Po, with a major in business law, summa cum laude.
Her native language is French, and she is fluent in English and proficient in Italian.
