Mark practices as an arbitrator in the areas of complex commercial disputes and investor state disputes. After his 41 year career at Norton Rose Fulbright (NRF) Mark has extensive experience with the international and domestic arbitration and litigation of banking, financial and securities transactions, including derivatives. He also has extensive experience with international and domestic construction contracts, power purchase and sale agreements, energy contracts, joint ventures, and project finance and development agreements.

For over 20 years Mark was co-head of the firm's International Department and the leader of the firm's Global Arbitration Group. He was, at his retirement, the longest serving Board member at NRF.
