Shana R. Cappell is an associate in the Litigation Practice. Ms. Cappell is part of a team of more than 500 lawyers throughout the firm who bring together the highest levels of substantive knowledge, industry expertise and complex litigation and trial experience to help meet the litigation needs of global business. Together, they represent many of the nation's largest and most prominent companies in high-profile class actions and other complex litigation, drawing upon many years of experience as national trial and coordinating counsel. The lawyers in Morgan Lewis' global litigation practice provide services in a wide range of areas including Business and Corporate Disputes, Corporate Investigations and Criminal Defense, Environmental, Patent and Trademark, Securities, Toxic Tort and Product Liability.
Ms. Cappell earned her law degree from Columbia University School of Law in 2002. While attending law school, Ms. Cappell served as articles editor of the Columbia Journal of Law and Social Problems, and she was recognized as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. In 1999, Ms. Cappell graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University, magna cum laude, with a bachelor's degree in history and English literature. Ms. Cappell is proficient in the Hebrew language and has a working knowledge of French language.
Ms. Cappell is admitted to practice in New York and Florida and before the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
