Ieva Kalnina (PhD cand. (EUI, Florence), LLM (Harvard; Fulbright scholar), BA (University of Latvia)) is an attorney (New York, 2006) and associate at Lévy Kaufmann-Kohler in Geneva where she practices international commercial and investment arbitration and acts as secretary or assistant to arbitral tribunals in cases under the ICC, ICSID, LCIA and UNCITRAL Rules (with focus on international investment law, real estate, finance and general commercial matters).
Formerly, Ieva Kalnina was an associate in the international arbitration department of Bonelli Erede Pappalardo (Milan) and a lecturer at Riga Graduate School of Law, where she taught courses on International Dispute Resolution and State Responsibility under International Law.
She is a member of the IBA Investment Arbitration Subcommittee, CIS Arbitration Network, Young ICCA's European desk, ICC YAF and YIAG and regularly appears as speaker on issues of international arbitration.
Ieva speaks Latvian, English, Italian, Russian, French, Spanish and has an intermediate knowledge of German.
