Steven is a leading authority on the management of international commercial litigation and arbitration.

"The Legal 500" has singled out Steven as being "focused and "creative", Chambers 2010 describing him as " being sought out for his wise judgement and intuitive understanding of cases. He has the ability to think outside the box and come out with the most innovative of ideas."

For a number of years Steven was Deputy Chairman and is still a Board Member of the Fraud Advisory Panel and the UK representative of Fraudnet, a global network of fraud litigation.

Steven has been appointed Chairman of the UK's Commercial Fraud Lawyers Association. He is also a Founding Member of the Association together with leading fraud litigation practitioners from Allen & Overy, Clifford Chance and Baker & McKenzie. He is a member of the Dubai International Financial Centre Courts.

Steven was for the last few years a member of SOCA's Asset Recovery Committee and the Committee of the International Corrupt Assets Recovery Organisation
