Christopher is a Senior Counsel (Singapore) and a Chartered Arbitrator. Christopher's arbitration practice encompasses all aspects of commercial disputes (including energy & gas), corporate, maritime, construction and military & defence procurement contracts involving the laws of diverse jurisdictions, including those of Singapore, New York, England, Hong Kong and India as well as investment disputes.
Christopher is Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Singapore) Limited, a Member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration, a Member of the General Committee of the Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA), a Member and Director of the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) and an independent non-executive director of the Board of Directors of Neptune Orient Lines Limited, serving as Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Enterprise Risk Management Committee.
Christopher speaks frequently on international arbitration issues. His representative publications include the "Singapore" Chapter in Frank-Peter Weigand's Practitioner's Handbook on International Commercial Arbitration (2nd ed.) and "The Asian Perspective on Advocacy" Chapter in Doak Bishop's The Art of Advocacy in International Arbitration (2nd ed.).
