Frances van Eupen has advised a range of banking and corporate clients in arbitrations under the ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, HKIAC, SIAC and LCIA Rules, involving various jurisdictions such as Hong Kong, Singapore, the UK, the Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan, India and the PRC.
Her recent experience includes representing a consortium of international energy companies in a multi-million dollar dispute referred to arbitration in Hong Kong, as well as acting for a number of banks in claims against Indian derivative counterparties under ISDA master agreements. She also has experience of investment treaty arbitration. Frances regularly appears as an advocate at hearings and speaks at conferences on arbitration related issues in Asia.
She is admitted to practice in England and Hong Kong, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
