Currently Azizjon Nazarov is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) where he teaches Labour Law and International Commercial Arbitration.

His main research interests fall in the areas of commercial law as well as customs and tax law.

Professional Experience

Azizjon Nazarov is a qualified attorney at law since 2003 and he has diverse knowledge of English, Russian, Uzbek, German legal systems. He has worked in many state and non-state organizations such as District Coroner’s Office, Uzbekistan Banking Association, National Bank of Uzbekistan, UBI Consulting, Isa-Nabi as well as Connollys Solicitors, UK and Freshfields, Paris. He started working at WIUT in March 2003 as a junior lecturer and up to date he has been promoted to the position of a senior lecturer. For two years during 2004-2006 he held the position of a Course Leader for Law and left that position due to his masters course in Switzerland.
