Sumeet Kachwaha is the founding partner of Kachwaha & Partners, a leading Indian firm in dispute resolution and arbitration.
Mr Kachwaha figures in Band One in the litigation and the arbitration section of Chambers Asia from 2009 onwards. He also figures as a 'Leading Individual' in Asia Pacific Legal 500.
Mr Kachwaha is currently vice president of the Asia Pacific Regional Arbitration Group (APRAG). He is on the six member Advisory Board of the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA) chaired by the Attorney General of Malaysia. He is also on the IBA sub-committee on implementation and application of the New York Convention by National Courts and Legislatures. He recently completed a three-year term as Chair of the Dispute Resolution & Arbitration Section of the IPBA.
