Emanuel Castellarin
Profile
Mr Emanuel Castellarin is a PhD student and teaching assistant in Public International Law at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He holds diplomas of the Hague Academy of International Law, Université Paris 1, Ecole Normale Supérieure, University of Pisa and Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies (Pisa).
His PhD thesis is about the participation of the European Union to international economic institutions. He has also published about the relationship between EU law and bilateral investment treaties, EU restrictive measures and the status of private persons in Public International Law, particularly on their civil liability for breaches of international criminal law.
His research interests include international investment arbitration, financial and monetary international law, common law of international organizations and legal theory.
He is fluent in French, English, Italian and German.
