Nicolas Angelet represented international organizations, the Belgian Government and foreign states from the Americas, Africa and Europe, as well as corporate clients before domestic courts in Belgium and abroad, ICSID and UNCITRAL arbitral tribunals and in ICSID annulment proceedings, PCA inter-State arbitration, the ICJ, the ECHR, the UN Human Rights Committee and subsidiary organs of the UN Security Council.
He is a member of the ICSID Panel of Conciliators and Arbitrators.
Nicolas is a professor of public international law at the Universities of Brussels both ULB and VUB. He holds a law degree from Ghent University (UGent 1986), a degree in international law and a degree in European law from the University of Brussels (ULB) and a doctorate in law from the University of Leuven (KU Leuven).
