Abhijit has done Graduations in Commerce (Honours) and Law from India and the UK. He is a qualified Company Secretary from India and Chartered Secretary from the UK and is a Fellow Member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India and The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, UK. Currently working as the President (Legal) in Hinduja Group in London (since June 2002), Abhijit is involved in the Group's worldwide legal matters covering international mediation / arbitration / litigation, strategic alliances, sanction compliance, Board / Shareholder issues, IPR, M&A, negotiating international contracts, company structuring, JV, anti-competition, etc. In 2010, he was listed as one of top 50 legal professionals in India. Abhijit has spoken in many countries on legal issues and has written numerous articles on law in international magazines.
