Zach Meyers

Zach joined Towerhouse in 2014. Zach spent several years at one of Australia's largest law firms, where he extensively advised Australia's telecommunications incumbent, Telstra, on all aspects of communications regulation and competition law. This included representing Telstra in negotiations for an AUD 11bn agreement with the Australian Government's National Broadband Network company, which are intended to eventually result in Telstra's full structural separation. He has also advised the World Bank and a number of developing country governments on telecoms law and policy reform throughout the Pacific. In 2013, he was recognised by Australia's Lawyers Weekly magazine as one of Australia's top three telecoms, media and technology lawyers under 30.
Zach most recently spent one year on secondment to a major firm in New York, advising on corporate governance and large commercial transactions. Zach graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2008 with a Bachelor in Laws (First Class Hons) and Bachelor of Arts. He also holds a Diploma of Modern Languages (French) and a Master of Public & International Law from the University of Melbourne, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law.
