Michael G. Jacobson

Michael Jacobson is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Hogan Lovells' International Trade and Investment and International Arbitration practices. He has experience in the areas of WTO law, investment treaty arbitration, public international law, international trade and investment policy, international commercial arbitration, customs, and economic sanctions.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Michael was a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. While in law school Michael was a legal intern at the United States Trade Representative's Office of Services and Investment and the National Basketball Players Association.
During law school, Michael was President of the Harvard Law School Moot Court Board. He was founder and captain of Harvard's ELSA WTO Moot Court team, winning the Best Individual Oralist award and team awards for brief writing. He was also a member of Harvard's Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court team, winning individual and team awards for oral argument and brief writing.
