Peng Wang
Profile
Mr. Peng Wang is currently a Ph.D. Candidate at Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) Law School and the Silk Road Scholar at Cambridge University Lauterpacht Centre for International Law. Before starting his Ph.D. program, Mr. Wang got LL.M, LL.B, and a Joint B.A. in economics. Mr. Wang is a regular speaker at both domestic and international conferences, including SIEL Biennial Global Conference, International Astronautical Congress, Chinese Society of International Economic Law Annual Meeting, China Forum of Law and Economics, China Institutional Economics Annual Conference, China International Law Society Annual Conference. He has contributed to Wuhan University International Law Review, International Economics and Trade Research, Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Journal of International Economic Law (China), and also serves as a peer reviewer for International Review of Law (Qatar). He has participated in CASC Moot Court Competition and FDI Moot Court Asia-Pacific Round as a team leader while he is the founding team leader for XJTU Rowing Team. Mr. Wang passed China Bar Examination and got the Judicial Professional Qualification Certificate.
His current research interests include politics of international investment law, economics of international law and international adjudication, governance of global commons, and evolution of China's rural land institution.
