Lukas Hoder
Profile
Lukas Hoder is an associate at law firm Kocian Solc Balastik in Prague, Czech Republic. He focuses on both commercial and investment arbitration, as well as domestic litigation, and has been involved in cases before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and in arbitrations under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).
Prior to joining Kocian Solc Balastik, Mr. Hoder worked with a leading Czech law firm in Prague on various arbitration and litigation matters, such as ICSID case Potová banka v. Hellenic Republic, a case before the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland and a large construction dispute before the Czech Arbitration Court.
Mr. Hoder also worked at the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic, in the Protection of Foreign Investments Unit, where he handled investment arbitration matters such as solar power profit tax cases and domestic litigation before Czech courts in proceedings to challenge the arbitral awards.
