Hannes Lenk
Profile
Hannes is currently a PhD candidate in international law and teaching assistant at the University of Gothenburg. He studied Law and European Legal Studies at the University of Westminster in London and obtained his LL.M. in European Law at the University of Leiden, the Netherlands, in 2012. Before commencing his doctoral studies, Hannes worked briefly at the European Commission where he participated in the WTO Trade Policy Review in 2013.
His research interests include European Union law, with a particular focus on the the EU as a global actor; as well as public international law and international economic law, especially international investment law and arbitration. Hannes has frequently conducted research for the Swedish Institute for European Policy Studies (SIEPS).
