José Joaquín Caicedo

Admitted to the Paris Bar and the Republic of Colombia, José Caicedo is counsel in the International Arbitration practice of the Paris office.
José joined Mayer Brown in 2010 and focuses on public international law and has regularly represented States, State entities, international organizations, foreign investors and companies in international arbitrations (ICC, ICSID, LMAA, UNCITRAL) involving a vast range of industries and sectors (oil & gas, mining, press distribution, telecommunication, arms procurements, banking, transportation industries, food industry). He has also acted before French courts in international law related issues.
In addition to his native Spanish, José is fluent in English and French.
