Profile

Weiwei Zhang is a postdoctoral researcher at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and an external expert at Sidley Austin LL.P.'s Geneva office. She obtained her PhD in International Law summa cum laude from the Graduate Institute, Geneva. Before, she served as a project officer, and later project manager, for the EU-China Trade Project, working on China's implementation of its WTO commitments. She has also interned at the WTO's Trade in Services Division. She gave lectures on trade in services at the IELPO LL.M. and the ELSA WTO/Investment Law Summer Schools. She also lectured on international trade and investment law at Tsinghua University.
