Seyoum Yohannes Tesfay practices law at GeTS Law Office in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He concentrates on corporate law, merger, acquisition, taxation, and construction law. He is keen to comprehend the causes and dynamics of inter-group and interpersonal conflicts. Particularly, he is passionate about alternative dispute resolution, and has published a number of articles in the area.
Before joining GeTS Law, Mr. Tesfay was a National Senior Advisor to the Ethiopian Investment Commission. He was also Assistant Professor of Law at Addis Ababa University School of Law, where he taught courses on International Business Transactions, Law of Business Organizations and Investment Law.
Mr. Tesfay earned MA in Peace and Security Studies from Addis Ababa University and United Nations University for Peace (Joint Program) in 2010. He also holds LL.M from the University of Michigan Law School (Ann Arbor) in 2003, and LL.B from Addis Ababa University in 1997.
