Ricardo D. Puccio Sala is a Partner at Estudio Navarro & Pazos Abogados. He was admitted to the Lima Bar Association in 1990.
Mr. Puccio graduated with honors from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru and the program of Business Law and Finance of the Escuela Superior de Administracion de Empresas / ESAN (Graduate School of Business Administration). He joined the Navarro Ferrero & Pazos Law firm in July of 2001.
Internationally, Mr. Puccio has successfully participated as an advisor on extrajudicial negotiation processes, as well as judicial and arbitration processes handled in foreign courts or foreign arbitration institutions.
In the national setting, Mr. Puccio has more than twenty five years of experience in private practice, advising major domestic and international corporations, as well as the highest authorities of the Republic. He also has ample experience in litigation with all types of judicial and arbitration authorities on civil, commercial, insurance and constitutional matters.
Mr. Puccio is also an expert on insurance and reinsurance matters. He works with important law firms such as Kennedys Law from London and has provided advice in important insurance cases.
He has published several articles and a book on procedural law. He has also collaborated on the preparation of Guides on Insurance and Reinsurance Legislation and on the role of Lloyd’s in Spain and Latin America with Kennedys Law. He also has experience teaching law and as an arbitrator for the National and International Conciliation and Arbitration Center of the Lima Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Puccio has successfully participated in arbitration cases before the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes – ICSID along with lawyers from Sidley Austin LLP..
He specializes in the areas of investment, insurance, transportation, commercial and civil procedural law.
