Wei Yin (Ivy) is currently a Ph.D. researcher at Durham Law School of Durham University, UK. Wei's major research area is international economic law, particularly investment law and financial regulation, and she has published certain articles in both English and Chinese. Her research interests cover investment treaty, regulation for sovereign investment (e.g. SOE and SWF investment), and socially responsible investment (SRI).
Wei Yin worked as a Research Intern at Development Research Center of the State Council & China Think Tanks. Wei was a Visiting Research Associate at Asian Institute of International Financial Law of Faculty of Law, the University of Hong Kong in summer 2016. She also served as the Co-Convenor of the Institute of Commercial and Corporate Law of Durham Law School for two years. Wei has participated in a few research projects funded by the University, China Securities Regulatory Commission and Think Tank etc.
