Nina Pavlova Mocheva, Senior Financial Sector Specialist - Dispute Resolution, World Bank Group
Nina is a Senior Financial Sector Specialist with the Debt Resolution & Insolvency team of the WBG Credit Infrastructure Group, and is based in Washington DC. She focuses on assisting client governments in improving their insolvency and debt resolution regimes, as well as with implementing alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms, such as commercial arbitration and mediation. Nina first joined the World Bank Group as a dispute resolution expert with the Investment Climate Advisory Services, where she developed a global benchmarking survey on international arbitration and mediation, launched in 100+ countries, as part of the first WBG Investing Across Borders Report. Prior to joining the World Bank, Nina practiced as a foreign attorney in the field of investment arbitration with the law firm of White & Case LLP, as part of a team advising sovereign states and private parties on international dispute resolution relating to foreign investment. Nina holds a LL.M. degree in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law School as a Fulbright scholar, and Master in Law degree from Sofia University, Bulgaria.
