Sandra Azima is an Associate in our international arbitration group and is based in Dubai.
Sandra has been involved in cases involving commercial, oil and gas, power, real-estate, investment and construction-related disputes under a variety of arbitration rules, including the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), and the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC).
Prior to joining Freshfields, Sandra worked as a trainee for the European Union's diplomatic service, the European External Action Service (EEAS), based in New York. She also worked as a Research Assistant at the New York University School of Law and completed the highly selective internship program with the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs in New York.
Sandra holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from New York University School of Law (New York, NY) as well as law degrees from the University of Westminster (London) and the University of Nice (Nice). She is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
She speaks English, French, Spanish, Farsi, and Swedish.
