Michele Curatola is a Senior Associate at Lombardi Segni e Associati. Mr. Curatola regularly acts as arbitrator in ad hoc and administered arbitration proceedings. He assists clients in international commercial and investment treaty arbitrations, cross-border disputes resolution and international legal assistance. He has experience with a broad range of issues, from seeking emergency interim relief prior to commencement of arbitration, to the enforcement of international arbitral awards in multiple jurisdictions.
Mr. Curatola has worked on some of the highest-value, most complex arbitration proceedings involving an Italian party, including mass claim investment treaty arbitration proceedings as well as energy (solar, oil and gas), engineering and construction, post m&a, and NPLs disputes.
Mr. Curatola is a regional representative for the ICC YAF. He is also an active member of many under-40 international associations devoted to international arbitration, including the ICDR Y&I, the LCIA YIAG, and the ASA Below 40.
Mr. Curatola holds a degree in International Law and Organizations from the University of Siena, a degree (J.D. equivalent) from the Bocconi University, Milan, and an LL.M. from Columbia University, New York. He is a member of the Italian Bar and of the New York Bar
