Anish Wadia, FCIArb, FSIArb, FACICA, FMIArb, is an experienced lawyer with full rights of audience before courts in India as an Advocate, England and Wales as a Solicitor Advocate, and the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) as a Legal Practitioner. With effect from 2017, appointed by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) as a Member to the ICC Commission on Arbitration & ADR to represent India, and on the ICC India Executive Committee as well as the ICC India Arbitration Group. Served as the ICC Young Arbitrator's Forum (YAF) Regional Representative for India. With effect from 2018, appointed as an Ambassador by the Alliance for Equality in Dispute Resolution. The youngest appointed (pan-India) Member of the Investor Grievance Redressal Committee, Mumbai (IGRC), constituted as per directions of the Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI), for the Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) to adjudicate upon investor and commodity disputes.
In addition to India, advises entities in Iceland, Singapore, England, France and U.S.A. Accepts appointments as an Arbitrator, Solicitor Advocate, Tribunal Secretary and Counsel in a broad spectrum of commodities, corporate, and commercial disputes.
Regularly invited to and speaks on topics related to international arbitration and is a Tutor, Examiner, and Moderator in international and domestic arbitrations for the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), U.K. Member of the team for the Indian Arbitration Forum (IAF) that prepared the "Best Practices Guidelines for Conduct of Arbitral Proceedings" (IAF Guidelines, 2018).
