Iliyana graduated with distinction from the University of Edinburgh in 2017 and since the beginning of her degree, she has acquired valuable legal experience at the Aberdeen Law Clinic, the Free Legal Advice Centre and the Oxford University Student Law Panel. After working for a financial advisory firm for a year, Iliyana joined the Dispute Resolution department of Burness Paull LLP as a paralegal during the final year of her undergraduate studies when she wrote the article "Third-Party Funding and Confidentiality in International Commercial Arbitration: A recipe for uncertainty?".
Iliyana is currently a second year trainee solicitor in Burness Paull LLP which is one of Scotland's leading independent commercial law firms.
