Taku Nemoto

Mr. Nemoto is a Junior Policy Analyst at the Trade and Agriculture Directorate of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
Mr. Nemoto previously worked as an associate of a leading Japanese law firm, Nishimura & Asahi, specializing in international trade, antitrust regulations and government relations. In that position, he worked as part of a team to address a wide variety of international trade cases and projects, retained by several Japan's ministries and businesses. In particular, Mr. Nemoto is familiar with the rules and policies regarding government support. He has also dealt with a number of antitrust cases including cartels, international merger filings and unilateral conducts.
At Harvard Law School, LL.M. program, Mr. Nemoto focused on studying international trade law and policies. After graduating from Harvard Law School in May, 2018, he has been on sabbatical from Nishimura & Asahi to work with The Cohen Group, a consulting firm in Washington D.C. founded by former Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen, which provides clients with comprehensive advice for understanding and shaping their business, political, legal, regulatory, and media environments.
