Alex Kamath
Profile
Alex Kamath is a J.D. candidate at Harvard Law School (Class of 2020). In 2018, he completed an LL.M. in Derecho Transnacional de los Negocios at IE Law School in Spain. He is currently a Schwarzman Scholar pursuing a Masters in Global Affairs at Tsinghua University in Beijing, with a concentration on economics and business.
Alex was a member of the ELSA Moot Court Competition on WTO Law from HLS that won the international level competition in 2017 at the WTO headquarters in Geneva. He has received best oralist awards in multiple international law moot court competitions including the ELSA Moot Court Competition and the 2016 ICC Lex Mercatoria Moot Court in Minsk, Belarus. He has completed internships in international arbitration with the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), Debevoise & Plimpton LLP (New York), WilmerHale LLP (London), and Zhong Lun Law Firm (Beijing). While at HLS, Alex served as a board member of the Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association (HIALSA) and the Harvard Association for Law and Business (HALB).
Alex is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
