Profile
Yulia Levashova is an assistant professor at Nyenrode Business University, the Netherlands and Associate Research Fellow at Utrecht University, the Netherlands. Her main research focus is on the legal aspects of foreign direct investment and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Levashova has been a legal consultant to the UNCTAD and has contributed to the 2019 World Investment Report. She has organised multiple international conferences, including the seminar during the 2018 World Investment Forum. Levashova is the author of numerous publications in the field of international investment law, including the book "The Right of States to Regulate in International Investment Law: The Search for Balance between Public Interest and Fair and Equitable Treatment" (2019) published in the International Arbitration Law Library series by Wolters Kluwer. She has been a visiting scholar at the European University Institute, Italy, Ghent University, Belgium and the Max Planck Institute, Germany.
