Dr. Yulia Levashova
Profile
Dr. Yulia Levashova is an Associate Professor at Nyenrode Business University in the Netherlands and a director of the dispute prevention program at the Asia Pacific FDI Network where she focuses on Central Asian region. Yulia's specialization is international investment arbitration, commercial arbitration, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and due diligence. Levashova is also an independent practitioner who serves as an arbitrator and provides legal consultancy to the Dutch government and international organizations, e.g., UNECE and UNCTAD. Yulia served as an observer to the UNCITRAL Working Group III on ISDS reform. Yulia is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, ICC Netherlands and the London Court of International Arbitration. Yulia has published widely on investment law issues, including a monograph on fair and equitable treatment, and co-edited volumes on investment law, environmental protection, and investor-state relations in a post-pandemic world.
