Rinat Gareev is a Russian-qualified lawyer, currently going through a qualification process for seeking admittance to the New York Bar. He specializes in international commercial arbitration, consumer arbitration and cross-border litigation. His academic interests include, inter alia: aviation law, logistics and supply chain management, public policy.
He worked as an assistant to Professor of HSE (Moscow) and later joint the UK-based legal-tech firm, where in his role of junior associate, he assisted legal team in representing the interests of air-passengers before the EU State courts and Consumer protection centers. He was later appointed to lead the ADR department, and is now assisting legal team in identifying and implementing ADR schemes.
Rinat has a vast experience in participating in different law competitions, including those in the sphere of international commercial arbitration. In 2016, he competed in the ICC Moot Court and won the prize for the Best Speaker. Later, in 2018, as a member of the HSE team for 15th Vis East Moot, received prestigious Fali Nariman Honorable Mention Award (Best Memorandum for Respondent), while the team became the World's Champion in Vienna.
