Lyndsey Thomsin is a PhD candidate and researcher specialized in EU and state aid law at the Utrecht Centre for Regulation and Enforcement in Europe (RENFORCE), Utrecht School of Law, Utrecht University. She holds a master degree in EU law and a master degree Dutch private law from the University of Tilburg, the Netherlands. Before starting her PhD research she worked as a legal consultant in The Hague and paralegal for a law firm in Brussels, specialising in EU law, competition law, state aid law, and health law. At the Utrecht School of Law she teaches EU and state aid law. During her PhD research she conducted research at the European University Institute in Florence and provided various presentations and publications on EU and state aid law.
