Santiago Rodríguez Senior is an associate at Uría Menéndez in Madrid specializing in international arbitration. Mr. Rodríguez has experience in international commercial arbitration and investor-state disputes relating to several industries, such as oil & gas, renewable energy, and construction. He has advised clients from various jurisdictions under many of the major arbitration rules, such as the International Chamber of Commerce ("ICC"), the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes ("ICSID") and UNCITRAL. Mr. Rodríguez is admitted to practice in Venezuela, and has a J.D. cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law and an LL.M. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. He has published several articles related to international arbitration and other sectors, such as Venezuela's oil & gas industry, cryptocurrencies, and blockchain technology.
