She practiced full-time at the private law firm of Tanner Legal Advisory (TLA) from 2013 - 2019, primarily focusing on corporate and commercial law. In representing both private and institutional clients, she dealt with government ministries agencies and departments on a daily basis to facilitate and ensure compliance with corporate, tax and employment law obligations. Her area of interest has always been economic development and was drawn to negotiations on Power Purchase Agreement, Public Private Partnerships and representing clients geared towards enhancing Sierra Leone economy.
She recently completed an LL.M in International Business Law with Distinction at the Central European University, Vienna Austria. She continues to work part-time with Tanner Legal Advisory but spends time carrying research on trade liberalization in the African continent with the aim of eventually doing a PhD in this area. She is also a legal research consultant at The Betts Firm a taxation, accounting and policy advisory firm.
